A late, cold spring — a small, dense pick
Cold fog held the buds back through February, so this spring’s pick came late and small — each bud thick with silver down. It was gathered over three March mornings, one basket per tree, and finished the same day over wood heat. The whole lot is a few dozen kilos; when it’s gone, it’s gone.
